Nothing exciting to report on the baby front…she’s still hanging in there at 38 weeks. Last night/this morning I started getting shooting pain down my hip/inner thigh while walking, so I think she’s finally found a nerve to nestle on!

Fitness Friday: When You’re In a Rush After Working Out

Another week! Hit 37 weeks yesterday, which means we are officially out of “preterm” land and into “early term” (which apparently translates into “she’s pretty much cooked but it’d be better if she waited another 2 weeks). Of course, I’m

The Obsession with Post-Partum

Happy Friday! We just hit 36 weeks, or the 9th month! This means that most of Baby Z’s more important systems are just about finished up, and she’s pretty much just going to chill/grow until she’s ready to head out

Thoughts on Running a Challenge Group

Happy late Father’s Day! I spent most of the weekend with both of my parents, and did some baby organizing (more on that later this week). Saturday was spent in Milbridge doing the usual work stuff. For a workout I

Fitness Friday: Signs You Should Take a Day Off

TGIF! After a pretty hot week here things are cooling off again (in the 50s) and we have a couple rainy days in the forecast. As much as I’d rather have rain on the days when I’m working in the

Fitness Friday: How Working Out & Eating Healthy Helped Me Gain 20 lbs.

TGIF! I wasn’t able to celebrate Global Running Day this Tuesday, but loved seeing the posts go by from people all over the world who were celebrating. I  did go for a long walk after work…well, after an accidental nap
